Darren Webster

Bio

Award-winning London Session Hairdresser Darren Webster is as passionate for his profession and the hairdressing sector as he was when he started over 30 years ago. He strives to provide an exceptional customer service experience for each and every one of his clients, creating looks and styles tailor-made to them. From starting his career in Leeds before making the move to London, Darren has gained extensive experience across the whole spectrum of the industry; from the salon floor to TV shows, hosting workshops at hairdressing professional trade events to working with leading haircare and retail brands. During this time he also created and ran a successful award-winning salon in the heart of Mayfair, London.

This all-encompassing knowledge and expertise brings with it exceptional benefits to all his clients. No doubt one of the key reasons why so many of them travel far and wide for their hair appointment with him.

Awards

Darren has been a finalist at the British Hairdressing Awards in 2005, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018. Then in 2019 he was invited to be one of the judges for the awards that year, an experience which enabled him to work with his peers and support the industry he loves.

He is frequently requested at trade shows and events for organisations that include BaByliss Pro, KMS, Goldwell, Tints of Nature and Schwarzkopf. He has also worked at live music events and London Fashion week, representing KMS for Bora Aksu & Fyodor Golan.

Being regularly asked to support and represent consumer brands BaByliss and Tresemme at PR and media events, gives Darren the opportunity to experience and trial new products as and when they are launched a well as gauge consumer feedback. This has included attending the Boots Electrical Beauty Conference, the QVC Beauty Bash and the VERY Blogging events. He has run several events at ASOS too.

Previously, Darren has also worked on TV Shows such as Top of the Pops, CD UK, Pop-world, GMTV & Lorraine. He was recently finalised for Afro Hairdresser of the Year 2020 in the British Hairdressing Awards.
